at ta prohm temple we observed the epic struggle of the jungle reclaiming its territory (in slow motion).
uprooting the massive temple in a strangely twisting, bulbous & yet enchanting embrace.
it seems a fitting metaphor for cambodia itself.
beautiful.

When you can't see the tops of the trees, it looks like they're Cloverfield's arms reaching down and crushing the temple.
Easily I acquiesce in but I about the brief should prepare more info then it has.

really, really cool...
a beauty that hurts is the name of a book about guatemala and the armed conflict here....so appropriate then and now. and in so many other parts of the world.
